The salesperson is the primary generator of revenue for the company. As such he is required to be personable, punctual, professional and well presented at all times.

  • Develop, grow and manage a commercial client database;
  • Arrange to meet with potential clients, assess the trees on the properties identified, and close the sales);
  • Assess the trees on the properties identified based on specific company and industry guidelines (training provided);
  • Develop our marketing department and educate our other sales people in developing their sales skills;
  • See and treat the company in a way that transcends a normal employee’s view: looking ahead creatively, adapting, assessing, improving and applying personal skills to positively affect the state and quality of the employees, equipment and work.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Several years experience working in sales;
  • Bilingual (French and English);
  • Interpreting sales data and running sales meetings;
  • Willingness to work outdoors;
  • Independently motivated, highly organized and effective communicator;
  • Able to manage a workflow that includes office-based and home-based work;
  • Reliable, punctual and positive team player, and able to work independently;
  • Mobile phone with data;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Experience in the Green Industry an asset (landscaping, arboriculture, horticulture, etc.);
  • Willingness and ability to absorb a large amount of information during the training process.


  • Monday to Friday, March or April to December
  • Statutory holidays

Salary and Benefits

  • 25 – 35$/hr, based on experience, potential and rate of return;
  • Possibility of continuing education in all aspects of arboriculture provided throughout the season by ISA trainers;

  • Company-owned sales car provided;
  • Company-owned tablet provided.
